The Problem
At 12:20am on a Monday, the alarm went off at a small electronics repair shop in an Agincourt plaza off the 401. Two storefront lites had been smashed. The owner met police on site and called our 24/7 line from the parking lot.
The Elite Glass Repair Toronto Crew arrived at 12:40am.
Securing the Store
The crew cleared the glass from the sidewalk and display shelves, photographed both openings from inside and out, and measured the openings and the existing 6mm tempered glass. By 1am both openings were boarded with 15mm OSB, screw-fixed to the aluminium frame and sealed with Dow Corning 795 against the rain that was forecast for the morning.

The Claim
The tenant’s policy was with Aviva. With the police report number and claim number in hand, we sent the adjuster time-stamped photos, measurements and an itemised invoice covering the board-up and both permanent lites. Aviva was direct-billed, so the tenant paid only the deductible.
